Agile Delivery Coordinator

Location: Cumbria (Fully Remote)

Salary: Upto £55,000

Chapman Tate Recruitment is partnering with a forward-thinking insurance house to recruit an Agile Delivery Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to lead delivery teams and champion agile principles, ensuring business priorities are met and customer value is delivered.

As Agile Delivery Coordinator, you will oversee change initiatives from inception to production, ensuring alignment with time and quality standards. Through effective facilitation, coaching, and collaboration, you’ll empower teams to deliver impactful solutions in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agile Leadership: Own and deliver changes into production, adhering to agile methodologies and agreed timelines, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Sprint Planning and Execution: Lead sprint planning, manage prioritization, and ensure backlogs are well-prepared for development.
  • Team Facilitation: Coach and facilitate teams to deliver the product roadmap as defined by the product team, resolving blockers and driving consistent sprint velocity.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and communicate progress.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure user stories are fit for sprint prioritization and oversee sprint resources and support.
  • Reporting: Produce professional reports and communications to keep all stakeholders informed of project status and risks.
  • Customer Focus: Consider the needs of all customers, including vulnerable customers, to ensure good outcomes aligned with Consumer Duty Principles.

Person Specification

Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in agile delivery, with significant experience working in an agile environment and advanced proficiency in Jira.
  • Skilled in managing multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks, and resolving delivery blockers.
  • Experience in a software development environment or collaborating with technical stakeholders.
  • Strong MS Office skills with an ability to produce high-quality documentation and reports.
  • Familiarity with IT technical jargon and agile methodologies.
