This role is ideal for someone who excels at guiding and mentoring technical teams, helping to shape a high-performing cloud services team.
As a Lead Azure Engineer, you will:
- Mentor and lead a team of engineers, providing guidance on best practices, troubleshooting, and skill development.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Azure, supporting team members and clients with in-depth technical insights and solutions.
- Drive the team’s success by establishing standards and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure their needs are met, coordinating the team’s response to complex technical challenges.
- Continuously improve team capabilities by promoting knowledge sharing, professional growth, and ongoing training.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience managing Azure environments with a focus on team leadership and mentoring.
- Strong technical knowledge of Azure services and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Experience with automation and scripting tools (PowerShell, ARM Templates, Terraform) is beneficial.
